How Listings Work
A plain look at how a submission becomes a listing on The Signal, and what to expect along the way.
From submission to published
You fill out a form. Your submission lands in our review queue, not on the live site. A person reviews it, cleans it up if needed, and publishes it when it is ready. Once published, it appears on the matching directory or calendar page.
Reviewed before publishing
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, and submitting does not guarantee publication. We look for accuracy, relevance, and whether it fits The Signal and the East Idaho community.
We may edit for clarity
We may edit submissions for clarity, formatting, accuracy, and relevance so listings stay clean and useful.
Your details stay private
The name and email you submit are used for review and follow-up only. They stay admin-only and are never shown on the public listing.
Events and newsletter
Event submissions and newsletter signups run through our event and newsletter tools. Everything else, including businesses, nonprofits, resources, and corrections, runs through the review queue described above.
Always verify the details
We work to keep listings accurate, but things change. When timing or details matter, please confirm with the organizer, business, or nonprofit directly.
